All events are held in Blindcrake Village Hall unless otherwise stated. The cost of hiring the village hall is £7 per hour (£3.50 for half-hour) for meetings, classes or workshops and £10 per hour for parties and events. There is a returnable deposit on bookings (£50-£100, depending on event), returned in full if the hall is left clean and tidy. |25th Nov 2021||19.30||"Murder, Margaret and Me" - a Cockermouth Amateur Dramatic Society theatrical performance of a murder mystery, with Agatha Christie and Margaret Rutherford heavily involved in the proceedings, not to mention Miss Marple! Add in the mystery in Agatha Christie's own life and the secrets that Margaret Rutherford hides from her fans and you have sparkling cyanide indeed!
