On behalf of the Parish Council of Blindcrake, Welcome! Our Parish, which lies at the Northwestern limit of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, comprises the village of Blindcrake, the hamlets of Redmain and Sunderland, and Isel. This website provides details of the activities of the Parish Council, local events and general information.

Events

All events are held in Blindcrake Village Hall unless otherwise stated. The cost of hiring the village hall is £7 per hour (£3.50 for half-hour) for meetings, classes or workshops and £10 per hour for parties and events. There is a £50 returnable deposit on bookings, rreturned in full if the hall is left clean and tidy. For bookings, contact Rachel on 07503 763590 or by email at villagehall@blindcrake.org.uk. 20.00-23.00 The Evening Inn  Evening Inn Village Pub.  Come along for cask beers, fine wine and amazing craic! And not forgetting the inevitable Pub Quiz too.
19.00-20.00 Pilates sessions. Every Tuesday. Come along and join up.
25th Aug 2018 13.00-18.00 Art @ Blindcrake. The annual Blindcrake village arts trail will run from 25th August to 2nd September and will feature 10 artists in six venues, including the Village Hall where refreshments will be available daily. 10th Sep 2018 10.30 Isel Ladies Coffee Morning. At Moota Great Escape cafe.
17th Sep 2018 19.30 Parish Council Meeting. All parishioners are welcome to attend. There is an opportunity at the beginning of the meeting to raise any local issue(s) of concern.
23rd Sep 2018 11.00 Harvest Festival Service at St Michael's Church, Isel. Bring along produce etc for the auction on Monday.
24th Sep 2018 18.00 Harvest Supper and Auction. Pie & Peas supper followed by the annual auction of produce. Tickets are £6 (primary scholars £3) in advance from Mrs M Mossop (01900 823492) or Mrs E Marrs (01900 824754) or from any DCC member.
29th Sep 2018 10.00 Fundraising Sainsbury's Bag Pack. Volunteers to pack from 10.00 am onwards. Please contacr Sylvia Bowe to volunteer.
15th Oct 2018 19.00 Isel DCC Meeting.
