On behalf of the Parish Council of Blindcrake, Welcome! Our Parish, which lies at the Northwestern limit of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, comprises the village of Blindcrake, the hamlets of Redmain and Sunderland, and Isel. This website provides details of the activities of the Parish Council, local events and general information.

All events are held in Blindcrake Village Hall unless otherwise stated. The cost of hiring the village hall is £7 per hour (£3.50 for half-hour) for meetings, classes or workshops and £10 per hour for parties and events. There is a £50 returnable deposit on bookings, rreturned in full if the hall is left clean and tidy. For bookings, contact Rachel on 07503 763590 or by email at villagehall@blindcrake.org.uk. 19.00-20.00 Pilates sessions. Every Tuesday. Come along and join up.
6th Jul 2018 19.30 Keswick Theatre Club presents two short plays by David Tristram: Carrot and Last Tango in Little Grimley. More details to follow.
16th Jul 2018 19.30 Parish Council Meeting. All parishioners are welcome to attend. There is an opportunity at the beginning of the meeting to raise any local issue(s) of concern.
11th Aug 2018 Village Social Trip to Edinburgh City and Zoo. Coach tickets are £11 a seat. Contact Rosie or Arthur Lester, or Lee Clark at Grove House, Blindcrake (07765 033736) for futher details and tickets.

25th Aug 2018 13.00-18.00 Art @ Blindcrake. The annual Blindcrake village arts trail will run from 25th August to 2nd September and will feature 10 artists in six venues, including the Village Hall where refreshments will be available daily.
