Our Parish, which lies at the Northwestern limit of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, comprises the village of Blindcrake, the hamlets of Redmain and Sunderland, and Isel. This website provides details of the activities of the Parish Council, local events and general information.

Events

All events are held in Blindcrake Village Hall unless otherwise stated. The cost of hiring the village hall is £7 per hour (£3.50 for half-hour) for meetings, classes or workshops and £10 per hour for parties and events. There is a returnable deposit on bookings (£50-£100, depending on event), returned in full if the hall is left clean and tidy. 18th Sep 2021 20.00-23.00 The Evening InnEvening Inn Village Pub. IT'S BACK AT LAST. Do come along for the sorely-missed range of craft beers and fine wines, as well as convivial company, the ever popular quiz and good craic!
11th Oct 2021 10.30 Ladies Coffee Morning at Moota Cafe. All ladies of the parish are welcome to join in this informal get together.
31st Oct 2021 The Wybergh Fund. 31st October 2021 is the deadline for applications for financial support from the fund for students (at 6th form or in further/higher education) or any senior citizen or parishioner requiring some financial assistance. Applications from individuals or caring neighbours should be sent to Julie Jackson, Horsemoor House, Blindcrake or email julie.jackson43@btinternet.com, who will also provide any further information.
